South Shore

The third area, "The South Shore," is on the mouth of the river, about 800 yards from the North Shore. This area is identical in its history and current status to the North Shore. It is an older Florida waterfront neighborhood which is enjoying the appreciation of water proximity.

Prices on the water range from $600,000 to $1,000,000 and canal properties range in price from approximately $300,000 to $600,000.

The South Shore is ahead of the North Shore in its building of million dollar plus homes - one is finished and two are nearing completion. On the North Shore a few million dollar plus waterfront homes are just getting ready to start their development.
