The fourth area is Lost River Preserve. It is a 300 plus acre subdivision located immediately south of Shell Harbor on the south side of Gulf City Road.

Home starts are low. This can be attributed to: there was no time limit as to when you had to build, some were bought by investors, many of the lots were bought by people for retirement; and, the slow down in the real estate market.

The homes that are built are very well done and attractive.
