Agricultural Land

It is 1,027 acres on the mainland in addition to a group of islands, mangrove coast, wetland, and upland habitat. According to the Wildlife Fellowship, Inc., "This preserve is unquestionable the most beautiful and unspoiled section of Tampa Bay north of the Skyway Bridge" (A Guide to Natural Areas in the Tampa Bay Region 40). It offers spectacular canoe and kayak trails and a boat ramp. The large number of mangrove and shallow water acreage provide for some of the best fishing around. The preserve islands are on the north side of Shell Harbor and wrap around to the west side. A great deal of the vacant land you see on the way to the boat ramp is the nature preserve park. It is currently an area being restored to its natural habitat, and the government has located its own office on the park's sight to oversee the restoration. This means to the buyer that the islands and parklands will not be built upon or developed, which will protect your investment. The natural preserve has, and maintains, a boat ramp directly into Tampa Bay, which is only 5 minutes from your subdivision. As the restoration develops, more amenities are planned.
